Visit of Bishop D. Joaquim Mendes

On October 25, we welcomed the Most Reverend Bishop D. Joaquim Mendes to our School, accompanied by Father João Valente, the prior of our Parish. It was a very beautiful moment, experienced with great emotion by everyone. The children welcomed our guests in the garden, where they sang the School anthem. This was followed by a session with the Catechesis students. Here, in addition to a prayer and a song, the Bishop and Father João were presented with a rosary and a decade, respectively, both handmade by the students. We also had the honor of having our Bible signed by D. Joaquim Mendes, who left us a kind dedication with a message of love and faith!
